Munnar with children

The rooftop garden with lawn, palms and lounge chairs

Short drives, open spaces and a pool on the roof make Munnar an easy family holiday. A few things help.

At the resort

There is a children's play area with swings, a see-saw and a merry-go-round, a kids' pool beside the rooftop pool, and an indoor activity room for wet afternoons. We also run contests and events for children.

Good outings for families

Mattupetty for the boating, Eravikulam to see the Nilgiri tahr, and the tea museum (closed on Mondays).

Practical notes

Children under five stay free. A room takes up to three people; for larger families, ask us about two rooms or a suite. Pack woollens for the evenings.
